THE DESERT QUEEN by David Farn

An experience like no other ! Climb the Himalayas with Gertrude  Bell in her petticoats, meet Lawrence of Arabia and other famous people. You will be enthralled as Gertrude recounts her amazing life and achievements.

Directed by Neil Armstrong it stars Phillippa Wilson ( from The Pitman Painters production on Broadway).

The play is followed by a Q & A with the writer and company.

Audition Reading – Monday 23rd April 7pm

Everyone is invited to take part in a reading of extracts from our next play Ladies Down Under by Amanda Whittington.

Plot Summary: Further adventure of the foursome from Ladies’ Day. Pearl, Jan, Shelley and Linda are celebrating with a trip of a lifetime to the land of Oz. While Shelley dreams of luxury and glamour, the rest of the gang decide to go native and camp out under the stars at Uluru. Shelley soon discovers there’s more on offer than posh hotels and Pearl finds that she’s got a mountain of her own to climb.

If you would like to be considered for a part which consists of 4 females (ages 25 – 60) and a number of male parts which could be played by 2 or 3 actors. Please come along or contact the Little Theatre to register your interest.
